Great response after TV premiere in Sweden

9th of October was the premiere for A separation on Swedish tv (SVT). Just a few minuts after the subtitles personal e-mails started coming in, both to Karin, Momento Film and SVT. Also on twitter and Facebook there was immediately a lot of positive reactions and viewers sharing clips and telling how touched they were and why!

Lübeck Nordic Film days

During October 30th- November 2nd, A separation will be screened at Lübeck Nordic Film days!


At the same time as A separation is screened at theaters all over Sweden the film will also take part in two European film festivals this spring. First up is Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, (March 14–23), where Karin Ekberg also will take part in a Q&A. Later during spring, the film will travel to Poland for Kraków Film Festival (May 25-June 1).

A separation is chosen to open Tempo Documentary Festival the 4th of March.

– We are extremely pleased to open the Tempo Documentary Festival with the Swedish premiere of  highly anticipated A separation, says Melissa Lindgren, program manager at Tempo.
– Karin Ekberg has made an incredibly strong debut film that manages to capture the private and simultaneously reflect on the universal. It’s a brave film about the complexities of life, made with both humor and warmth.

Tempo Documentary Festival, Stockholm, March 4th– 9th. The opening will take place at Folkoperan. In March 7  the movie will have it’s theatrical premiere on cinemas all over Sweden via Folkets Bio.
